Zlatyu Boyadjiev - Dimitar Avramov

Professor Dimitar Avramov (1929-2008) was an art and literary expert with considerable contribution to contemporary Bulgarian culture. He has always been an advocate of truth and beauty through his books and monographs, his numerous texts in periodicals, which show exceptional erudition, great talent and a restless spirit. His capital works: Aesthetics of Modern Art (1969, 2009), Baudelaire, (1985, 2010), The Master and His Time (1989), Dialogue between Two Arts (1993), Chronicle of a Dramatic Decade (1994), Studies on Modernism (2010), that present him as a Citizen and a Democrat, who has masterfully captured the essence of our dramatic past and present, are a proof of that.
